Could the Westminster Best in Show 2013 BE any nuzzlier? Banana Joe, an adorable Affenpinscher, won Best in Show at Westminster last night.

I love the quote from one of the judges:

“This little fellow seemed to want it just a touch more,” Michael Dougherty, the best-in-show judge at the 137th annual contest, told the media after selecting him over six other finalists. “He has a fantastic face and an absolutely perfect body.”

So….some people might consider this silly but I consider it the act of someone who really cares about animals. She made her little disabled goldfish a sling/wheelchair to help keep her afloat. She struggles a bit but, as the goldfish mom says, “She looks a little silly, but it is better than lying at the bottom of the tank all day!”
